White water Rafting Class-III on Saturdays July 16th and August 6th
Most popular and awaited event is here with best deals for weekends full day trips, Our group's Rafting trip is being arranged for beginners Class-III on Saturdays (July 16th and August 6th) Also the Class-IV trips with max 12 seats are arranged on Sundays (August 28th and September 4th -long week-end).For first timers - Expert guide will accompany each raft consist of 6-8 rafters for class-III. Swimming is not required as life jacket is full proof but good to have some swimming experience for Class4. Water flow will make sure you don't have to paddle a lot. Saturdays July 16th / August 6th : Level-III+ -1 day trip on Scenic American River south fork Gorge section from Lotus, CA (off of Hwy 50 after Folsom).
Charges (Class-3) - $82.00 per person including River use fee, taxes & Lunch (Week-end regular price is $145.00)- BBQ Lunch included, plenty of veggie options will be there.
Reporting time: 10:00AM takes 2.5 to 3 hours from Bay Area. Carpool Minimum age: 8 years
Boats will be launched at their campground after the safety talk. Lunch stop will be after an hour of rafting. Carpool, logistics, maps etc. information will be provided to confirmed list.
Rafting from 10:30AM - 3PM. Bus will bring you back to the parking lot. After that you can drive back or stay for the camping.
Cancellations: 4 days prior to the event start time for class-III, after that only replacements.

About the campground: Nice beautiful riverside campsite in the forest. Have men's and women's restrooms, have endless hot water showers and flush toilets, a big volleyball court, ping-pong table, horseshoes, and interesting nature trails. Lights and plug points are not available. Bring your searchlights etc. They also have a small walk-in store for sunscreen, shorts, t-shirts etc. Optional add on: Riverside camping, Lavish dinner, Live Band in the evening, free wine tasting on the campsite for extra cost. Driving time: 2.5 to 3 hours from Bay area.

For Level-4 American River Middle Fork, 1 day trip Near Auburn, CA, it's arranged on Sundays August 28th and September 4th long week-end. But enthusiast wants to go before, please sign up and will contact you if there is any openings before as there are only 2 boats or 12 seats per day for one group as per county restriction for Class-4.

Sanjeev Abhyankar is a highly acclaimed exponent of Hindustani classical music. A star disciple of the great Pt Jasraj of Mewati gharana, Sanjeev is one of the most promising youngsters in the field of Hindustani classical music. He is credited with attracting the young generation towards Indian Classical as well as devotional music by his magical singing. He will be visiting USA after a gap of 4 years. Rohit Mujumdar is a disciple of Pt. Suresh Talwalkar is a young, promising and sought after accompanist for Instrumental and Vocal Music. Tanmay Deochake is a talented and well established harmonium player from India.
